i-Patriot Act to follow an i-9/11 event.

September 10th, 2008 | 280 wordcount

Only twenty days after 9/11 the United States was introduced to the Patriot Act. Could it be that it was already pre-written just waiting for a disaster to occur so that it could be implemented on the American people? It’s something that is a possibility we, as Americans, should all look into and ask ourselves.

We already know that they have other plans already drawn up for us. We only have to look at the plans for Rex 84 (also known as Readiness Exercise 1984 — which is creepy) to know that the government is PREPARED at any moment to see us as no longer human beings but just cattle.

So what is to say that they haven’t drawn up a plan that mimics the Patriot Act — only for our Internet?

Lawrence Lessig, a respected Law professor from Stanford University and also the Founder of Stanford Law School’s Center for Internet and Society, seems to not only think that there is a plan ready to spring into action, but that there is also going to be something huge that precedes it — an i-9/11, so to speak. This man is not just some psycho looking to be heard, but rather a big time internet entrepreneur that has done wonders for the internet and the freedom of information. What he says has to be acknowledged and at least taken into consideration as a POSSIBILITY.

As for me? I wholeheartedly believe that this will happen. I also believe the government will be behind the “i-9/11 attack” and NOT some renegade hacking internet terrorists.

Since the time before the internet even got big, probably.
