Zeitgeist: Addendum.
October 9th, 2008 | 2,121 wordcountTHE VIDEO IS BELOW MY REVIEW TO WATCH and also please excuse typos and grammar errors.
“The true terrorists of our world do not meet at the docks at midnight, or scream ‘Allah Akbar’ before some violent action. The true terrorists of our world wear five thousand dollar suits, and work in the highest positions of finance, government and business.” - Peter Joseph, Zeitgeist: Addendum.
Tonight I finally saw “Zeitgeist: Addendum”, also known probably as “Zeitgeist Part 2″, by Peter Joseph. I have a very, very mixed review on it. Read below and also note: the video will be below this post and review.
This movie, unlike the first “Zeitgeist” movie, started out actually really good. Hardly any religion mentioned at all. That made me very happy, because seriously, in the first movie the parts about religion in the first “Zeitgeist” movie completely turned me off — but I trekked on and watched the rest of it, ignoring the points about religion and how the movie “Zeitgeist” attempted to interconnect the corruption in our federal and monetary system with peoples religious values.
Because, even though the first “Zeitgeist” movie stole everything from other movies and documentaries (even whole clips from other movies and quotes), it still made good points about our government and how they steal our money.
“Zeitgeist: Addendum” does the same thing — it breaks down the monetary system even further, explaining how “money = debt” (“money = debt” has become an actual term and I see people all over telling others to Google “money = debt” constantly now).
I personally was all ready informed about a LOT of this, but it’s always good to hear it again and again, in different forms, and learn it in different ways. However “Zeitgeist: Addendum” probably took from other movies, like the part about the economic hit man — I honestly don’t think that Peter Joseph actually sought that man out for a video, but probably stole it from another documentary. Just like he did in the first “Zeitgeist” movie.
And even though I personally am not a fan of that, and will like to hear things purely from the source (and this is why I promote the Aaron Russo/Alex Jones interview, that the first “Zeitgeist” movie took from), I believe that this movie at least is getting the message out to a greater audience of people, as opposed to probably the documentary featuring the Economic Hitman (which I will find what that documentary is and will probably post it here — promise!).
It also talks about free energy, and different things we can use. How the sun can power us and there are things in the earth that can also power every nation forever, and we would never have to use oil again. I’m down for all of this. Seems very kosher to me. No more blood for oil? Let’s do it. Free energy (as in completely free, and no ones making money off of it)? I’m down for it.
And what about the cars you say? How will we power the cars? “Zeitgeist: Addendum” talks about how we can have electronic and battery operated cars today — but the oil companies have patented mostly all of the of the batteries to power these cars… anyone else see ANYTHING wrong with that?
It also talks about a lot more interesting things, and gives great points, that I can’t really remember right now because I am tired LOL.
OH EXCEPT THIS MOVIE ALSO SAID THAT WE MUST PROTECT THE INTERNET AT ALL COSTS — AMEN TO THAT, PETER JOSEPH. AMEN TO THAT. But we all know that there is an i-Patriot Act ready to take effect SOON after an i-9/11 event, don’t we? (Read about that here - “i-Patriot Act to follow an i-9/11 event” and here - “The pretenses for an i-Patriot Act are here!”).
But then the movie gets weird. I also would like to admit here that Peter Joseph is clever for leaving most of the stuff he had to say about religion towards the end of the movie. But nevertheless the movie still gets weird.
It talks about something called The Venus Project. I looked them up, and this is their site: The Venus Project - The Redesign of a culture.
At first it didn’t seem like a bad idea to me. A completely free society. A wonderful society where people enjoy life and have fun and are completely relaxed. The old man in the video, who represented The Venus Project, made a very good point: The petty, small, repetitive, boring jobs that people have to do day in and day out keeps people ignorant. Which is true. I once heard of a therapist on T.V. saying “it isn’t people who go to therapists that are crazy — it’s people who work day in and day out for forty years straight, every day doing the same thing that are the crazy ones.” (I’m paraphrasing, obviously).
And I have to tell you.. that is an absolutely true statement. When I went to school every single day for massage therapy, I really wanted to kill myself. That is not an exaggeration. How do people do it? Day in and day out, the same thing, the same day over and over again… How is this possible? Just thinking about it is eliciting some strong emotions in me right now…
So I agreed with this old man from The Venus Project. A free society, no work, no laws, machines do it all for you, everyone is stress free and we all live in harmony away from the terrorist elite that controls everything — WHERE DO I SIGN UP? All though to be perfectly honest, I think what this man was talking about is far too advanced for humans today as they are. Not technology wise, but as a mentality. I don’t really think we can. (Sorry, Obama, it turns out– No We Can’t).
And it wouldn’t be right to force us to. And believe me, I’d fight to bring down this SUPPOSEDLY wonderful society if it was forced upon ANYONE who didn’t want it forced on them. It really started to sound all most communistic in a way. It sounded like they wanted to do away with old values and old beliefs — religious systems, familial values, etc. And that’s not right. That’s what the communist’s tried to do in Russia. That’s what they want to do in the New World Order.
That’s what they did on communes in Israel (known as a Kibbutz) — where the children who grew up there had no constructive family life or parenting or anything.. and it pretty much didn’t work for the children involved. So why do away with traditional families? Why even HINT at it? The old man said how parents indoctrinate their children towards their belief systems…
And he is talking about it as if it’s negative.
This is where I started to get edgy and suspicious with the movie. If you agree with this old man, then you ALSO agree with California’s decision to stop homeschooling — when a LOT of homeschooling is done for religious purposes (check out my post about that here: Most Homeschooling in California is banned), and you also DISAGREE with Aaron Russo when he speaks negatively about how those at the top of this centuries old pyramid scheme (taking right from Peter Josephs mouth) want your children to go to state funded schools and be indoctrinated with what THEY want your children to be indoctrinated by (and it is usually anti religious — I have seen it with my own two eyes in the school system and the many many schools I have been to).
The ramifications of what this old man from The Venus Project is saying are HUGE. And also, my question is, what does he or others at The Venus Project propose we do with those who will cling onto their faith because they are so in love with their Savior? (Christians). Or their Prophet? (Muslims). Or their Messiah to come? (Jews — Ugh, yes, that’s right, I just stuck up for them in terms of their right to their religion … Even though they will never do the same for ANYONE). Or anyone who believes in any other religion?
What these people from The Venus Project have in mind for those that cling to their old beliefs, I really, honestly shudder to think.
I mean, I really wouldn’t doubt if this comes back later in time that The Venus Project was some CIA funded group or experiment — after all, they say Jonestown may have been a CIA experiment. Just remember folks: Just because it SOUNDS pretty, doesn’t mean it is.
This is where critical thinking MUST come into play.
And also remember: A person will fight for their interests before they fight for their freedoms.
But that isn’t right, and we shouldn’t be like that. Just because certain religions aren’t your interest so to speak, or even if you detest them, it is still the right of people to practice what they want. And I would fight to protect my freedoms and another persons freedoms over my own INTERESTS.
This is why I think that Peter Joseph should have seriously left anything about religion out of the movies “Zeitgeist” and “Zeitgeist: Addendum”. It really takes away ANYTHING else he has to say about the monetary system, and will turn those who HAVE a belief in God right off.
And when it gets into the New Ageism? I don’t know what else to call it BUT New Ageism, it won’t just turn people off who have a belief in God, but it will also turn off those who don’t have a spiritual bone in their body.
It takes away from the whole message. A friend, Tom, said that:
Lunatic (1:02:36 AM): they deserved to be turned off if they won’t be open-minded
Lunatic (1:02:40 AM): go back to working their horrible jobs
Lunatic (1:02:44 AM): and praying to god every night
But I do not agree with him. Really.. just because people are believing what they want in terms of GOD and religion, they should be RAPED by the monetary system and the Federal Government and Federal Reserve System?
Seems not fair.
I also think that this movie contradicted itself a lot. It talks about how these things that are placed upon us by the global elite are anti-American… But the Venus Project seems to want a one world type of unification… I don’t know.
I’m tired. It’s late and I guess that’s really all I had to say about this movie, “Zeitgeist: Addendum”. ACTUALLY THERE IS A TON MORE I CAN SAY ABOUT THIS MOVIE BUT I’LL LEAVE IT HERE. So I guess I suppose I’m done — thank God, right? Haha.
Oh, except one more thing, when “Zeitgeist: Addendum” was going on and on about the spiritual stuff at the end, can someone tell me WHAT THE FREEMASON HAND DIAMOND SYMBOL WAS DOING IN IT?
Okay, and NOW I’m done.
AND NOW.. WITHOUT FURTHER ADO.. HERE IS THE MOVIE, “ZEITGEIST: ADDENDUM”:
It’s a 2 hour movie, so watch it when you have a lot of time

Zeitgeist: Addendum.
Take of it what you will, people. Enjoy.
Oh, and if you didn’t know what I was talking about about the Freemason Diamond Hand Symbol…
Well, this is not the BEST source, but watch this. It’s not just a music video, you have to actually WATCH it — when the music shuts off there is more to it.
Occult Secrets of Jay Z, Kanye & Nas
Description: “An in depth look at the very disturbing truth behind some of mainstream music’s most ‘popular’ celebrities and their occult practices.
Download the video here and share it with everyone: http://www.gigasize.com/get.php/-1099800884/Masons.wmv
‘What it’s about is the fact that Jigga is a Lucifer-worshiping Mason. And he’s pulled in Kanye and Nas. All the symbols are masonic/pagan/satanic especially the pink goat’s head shirt Kanye is wearing. And just listen to the song…it’s about secret societies and the satanic Illuminati which employs Jigga. Do some research…free your mind.’ -RizNJ

***TO BE HONEST I DON’T CARE ABOUT JAY-Z OR NAS BEING A MASON, THAT WASN’T THE POINT IN ME PUTTING UP THIS VIDEO…*** The point was to show people about the Masonic Diamond Hand Symbol. The same one that is in suspiciously “Zeitgeist: Addendum”. That’s it.
So, can someone honestly tell me why the Freemason Diamond Hand Symbol appears in this movie?
That’s really the only true question I have. LOL.
Anyway, comments and thoughts are welcomed as always and thanks for reading!
BY THE WAY, SORRY FOR THIS, BUT ONE MORE QUICK THING…LOL… Does anyone else feel like The Venus Project seems sort of like the DHARMA Initiative from Lost…? LOL. (By the way, that’s a joke, not really meant to be seriously contemplated or taken seriously).
OKAY SORRY. THAT’S THE LAST THING I WANTED TO SAY.

You mentioned ‘free energy’ in your lengthy article here. You should know something. Oil is a finite resource, energy is a relatively infinite one. Secondly, those who profit from oil now, notice that they’re simply doing a redistribution of where their money is being placed. You may look to some of these people and go ‘oh, they’re innovating and getting on the alternative energy bandwagon’, wrong. They’re establishing another 200 or more years worth of market dominion and being able to influence politics and gouge economies at will.
The oil barons of today won’t easily let go of the energy markets they control.
It seems nothing is ever free these days, even the things that should be.
Hell, let’s face it, people have made businesses out of some of the most awful things you can imagine; life insurance for example, lol, when you really think about it, it’s profit from human death.
I watched the first Zeitgeist movie, and, I’ll watch this next one relatively soon.
Brandon, Brandon, Brandon… of course I agree with you about the oil industry and Free Energy is just another way of making money and that they are profiting from it — this is why when politicians spit in our faces about finding alternative fuels because of global warming, I know there is another ulterior motive to that. Haha.
Here, just read this where I state: http://ritualistic.org/2008/10/07/watching-the-presidential-debate-tonight/
“And isn’t it funny that the second 700 billion dollar bail out (the one that went through) snuck something in there about green energy and global warming? And who knows what else was slipped in — but that’s besides the point. Except that.. what does global warming and alternative energy have to do with bad mortgages?”
Of COURSE it’s about money.
But this movie has another take on it all together. Very fascinating to hear about.
I haven’t totally finished the video… But the Venus Project people are a bit crazy. I recommend immediately reading the Unabomber Manifesto (it is actually a good piece of writing despite the source). Radical advancement in technology does not replace the need for repetitive jobs, it replaces the need for people.
I plan on writing something long… so I won’t go on too much here. But the first 1/3 on the money system was quite interesting.
I never read the Unabomber Manifesto but… it goes something like that? Wow, I wish people would open their eyes and not follow this blindly.
I REALLY want to see what you say about it, Chris. Thank you for commenting!
The people from that project have the right idea, but it isn’t entirely thought out; regardless, you still need law and reasons for education and things like that. Although, the one thing they’re very right about is the idea of a resource based economy. Yes, the idea sounds ‘crazy’ at first. Since the time we’re born, we learn all about money and the effect of it, so it’s very difficult to get rid of the idea that without money, there’s no system to keep people in place, and nobody would do anything…
There are still sensible ways to do it without allowing the sickening greed and corruption of today.
If we embrace The Venus Project we are also embracing the death of different cultures and differences. And differences make the world go round. I feel like this “global culture” so to speak that The Venus Project seems to want to put upon us is going to kill the fire in all humanity — the differences that make us, our RIGHTS to be different, our pride…
Everything not good.
As opposed to what, the differences, greed, and corruption of today that means about half the world lives in poverty, people’s countries are invaded for expansionist empires under the veil of democracy, and perpetual conflict and distrust among people?
In the past, religion has been used to great extent to wage war; even today it’s still used in some countries for hostile purposes.
Greed? I don’t even need to address that one.
Differences? Diversity is grand, but people capitalize on differences and use it as justification for hate, crimes, and war.
I’m not saying the Venus Project is entirely the right way to go, they have it wrong too — a society with “no laws”? What then, would make anyone want to go to school to learn, or to do anything in particular? Technology is at the point where it can do a great many things for us, especially if we as people (or more specifically, those who make and program these robots) would halt the money-engine (far fetched, I know.)
You still need law, you still need reasons to maintain order, and above all else, if technology is going to do all the work for humanity (or the vast majority of it), it will somehow have to be maintained. That means, people still need to be trained to update it, program it, repair it, and salvage it.
Regardless though, a resource-based economy, if well thought out, would benefit a much greater spread of the people. The one we have now, as the video so eloquently puts it, only truly benefits those at the top of the pyramid. Last time I checked, I didn’t have millions of dollars to throw around wastelessly at my whims, neither do you, and neither does just about anyone else we know; oh, except for nazi john, who of course, has yet to show us his suitcases full of 100 dollar bills. I wonder why we’ve not seen that one, eh? Time to go save the coral reef.
I think it’s the CORRUPTION of religion to wage war. I never knew a single, true Bible believer that wanted war and strife and conflict. Those that claim to be Christians and want that don’t really know their Bible or Christian warfare (what this country was supposed to be based on). As for the Muslim religion, that’s been heavily, heavily perverted too by a lot of people. Like the tribes in Afghanistan that just do what their tribal leaders tell them to because they think that’s apart of their religion — but I’m not even saying that’s bad either because that’s like tribes in Africa, or Native American tribes that do what their leaders tell them to.
And before we get into the tribal Muslim leaders telling them to hate and attack Americans, you and I both know that’s a separate subject all together.
But my point is it’s the rights of these people to keep their tradition and heritage — even the perverted, warped versions (as you and I see them) of their religion. This is their culture. This is how it’s done. Even Ronald Reagan said something to the effect that we don’t understand Middle Eastern politics or ways of life and should leave them be — this could be said for ANY way of life or culture that is different.
And I just also want to add this: I love how when people talk about religion in a negative sense, they’ll mention Christianity or the Muslim religion, but never the Jewish. You’ve read how the Talmud is heavily prejudice towards pretty much everyone who isn’t Jewish.. and yet our congress claimed in the 70s that we were based on the Noahide Laws (which are ONLY Talmudic).
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Seven_Laws_of_Noah#United_States_Congress
Okay sorry… I just REALLY wanted to throw that in, because no one seems to know that and everyone just seems to focus in on Christianity (not saying that you were, but I just wanted to say that to anyone who reads). I mean, if you’re going to hate on religion being involved in global sovereignty, do it right and include ALL religions. And of course, know what and why you’re hating on them, instead of just because … of what someone else said.
For the rest of what you were saying Brandon: I agree about The Venus Project and their no laws — at first it seemed like a great idea. Remember how I mentioned to you that peaceful anarchy would be nice? Yeah… I don’t know now. What about serial killers who kill just for the pure joy of it? And that man mentioned how if someones drunk you put things on the road to keep them from getting into an accident — that could work to get them from swerving off the road, but how about swerving into someone? And what if this person is a perpetual drunk.. And blacks out while drunk and does horrible things?
What about people who abuse their spouses? I mean, there are some things that are ridiculous — like a man slaps his wife and the state presses charges FOR her if she doesn’t want to (I’ve heard of states doing this). Should the man have slapped his wife? No. Should the state have gotten involved if she didn’t want them to? No. I’m talking just a slap–not a full out, broken ribs, broken bones, black eyes beating. And if that black eyed beating were to happen, what would The Venus Project plan on doing about it? There are no laws!!!!
It really should just be tempered with common God damn sense. Too much of anything is no good — like too much government involved in someones homes, too many laws, etc… Like a man killing an intruder who runs out of his house? 100 years ago we would have given that guy a medal. Today? We’re too squeaky clean and disgusting politically correct. We have him arrested.
And as for people maintaining and governing over these mechanics and machines — that’s funny you should say that. Someone else brought that up to me, and I say to them that if there was such a society as The Venus Project, then those people who build the machines, and understand them, and the scientists etcetc would wind up being more important in the long run then someone who is like me who just goes there because I like the society and there is nothing that I can contribute.
Yeah, and we definitely need a re-haul of things. Like our economy and whatnot… . . . An economic revolution, so to speak. Haha.
Gee, and I wonder how Nazi John is faring in this crisis? You know, since he and his father are probably huge market players, as well as big time Mobsters, while also taking care of peoples plumbing on the weekends and then of course on their SPARE time they take turns guarding and protecting the reef — because the reef will be the one to save us from this global crisis and make them make money through the stock market again so that they can go be Mother Teresa’s in soup kitchens around the world.
His underground role play revolution to take over teh AOLs in your name must be suffering too…
I have seen both Zeitgeist and Zeitgeist Addendum a few times each. I have used those movies as starting points to embark in more in-depth research. I have been studying a lot of the topics that the movies touch on continuously for about 2 years now.
As I see it, the Venus Project and the people associated with it are simply pioneers in thinking. They don’t have all of the answers and they don’t even know all of the details involved to get from a “monetary based society” to a “resource based society”. No pioneer ever does know all of the answers… most don’t even know all of the questions…
However, I have a VERY philosophical take on the ideas that they are presenting in Zeitgeist Addendum.
I will start off with a couple of examples. The oriental concept of Tao teaches duality. For instance, the concept of “hot” automatically requires an opposing concept of “cold”. Without the concept of “cold” there can be no concept of “hot”. We can follow this example using any number of examples, long-short, young-old, birth-death, beginning-ending, marriage-divorce, etc.
Following these lines, and giving some time to contemplate this, it seems reasonable that a society based on transactions, money, ownership, laws to protect ownership, engineered scarcity, etc. must automatically have an opposing concept of a society with no transactions, no money, no ownership, no laws to protect ownership, non-engineered abundance, etc.
The evidence out there highly suggests that we are living in the age of Pisces which is a Water sign and money, maritime law, commerce, and water are all very closely related (study stuff from Maxwell Jordan to learn more about this). Note that water is physically easy to block, guide, control, distribute and regulate as is a “monetary based society”.
Even a brief study of Aquarius will reveal that it represents a concept of “coming before it’s time”, freedom of body and mind, openness and acceptance to most anything, a propensity toward all things electronic, communication, a desire for knowledge, and an affinity for technology. It’s also important to note that Aquarius is an Air sign. Air is physically unpredictable in nature, very abundant, and often difficult to control (and perhaps even unnecessary to control) as is a “resource based economy”.
We know from Zeitgeist, and obvious other sources, that the “changing of the guard” so to speak is coming near or around 2150. The Mayans said 2012. And various other folks have talked about a big change in or around this time that we live in today. In very basic terminology, the big rocks (planets and stuff) with all of their magnetic energies are constantly moving around in space and soon their magnetism is going to align itself in a different way. It doesn’t matter if a person “believes in” astrology or not. The physical movement of the planets and our solar system is happening. People clinging to a “monetary based society” and people who think that astrology is for “crackpots” will have exactly zero effect on this realignment.
However, with a change that is this big, clearly, folks aren’t going to just suddenly switch over to the new era instantly. Many people will cling to the old belief system for as long as they can even when many others around them see it as pointless and perhaps even “foolish” to do so. For example, there was certainly one company years ago that had perfected the horse-drawn carriage buggy whip. Some people were out there buying it thinking that it was the best thing ever. Meanwhile, their neighbors had long thrown their buggy whips in the garbage and were out driving around in their new cars… As time went on, fewer and fewer folks bought buggy whips (even if they were the best!) and more and more people could be found driving around in cars. In another example, folks were still out marching around professing to know that the world was flat long after others knew for a fact that it was round.
So it will be with the change from the “monetary based system” to the “resource based system”. Some folks are going to hold onto their gold and silver and cash and diamonds and stocks and bonds and laws and religions and world empires until the very end. And one day someone will walk up to them and ask, “Why do you cling to gold so tightly when all of the necessities of life can be had for free?”
This scenario is not some science fiction idea or mythological concept. It’s simply a fact of universal order.
The oil companies cling to scarcity and VERY dated technology in an attempt to hold onto the old age of Pisces. I mean REALLY, can new cars today still only get 35 miles to the gallon?? Governments attempt to prosecute people for collecting rainwater in an attempt to control everything like they have done for the last 2000 years. Religious organizations around the world are all in a scramble to get more believers in the interest of “self preservation”. I especially liked the bumper sticker that the mormon church put out a few years ago that read, “Everybody look busy, Jesus is coming.”
So, anyway, you made the point that people have “the right” to believe in their religions if they want to. People have “the right” to keep their tradition and heritage if they want to. Sure. In a “resource based society” people will still indeed have “the right” to those things. People today still have “the right” to believe that the earth is flat. However, no one believes that because it would seem silly to. And, 300 years from now, exercising “the right” to believe in a religion from yester-year (today) will also seem silly. And I believe that this is what the Venus Project folks are trying to say. No one is going to go around taking the money from Microsoft or Exxon-Mobil. It won’t be necessary.
Think about it. REALLY think about it. Every single day another person becomes homeless/jobless, as REQUIRED by the “monetary based society”. So, this pool of potential labor is constantly getting bigger and bigger. It’s important to note that this pool of potential labor is growing at an exponential rate! In effect, these people are “out of the system”. Anyone that is out of the system who works, is automatically working against the “monetary based society”.
For example, if I go out today and work for 12 hours for free, none of that labor can be taxed by the government. None of that labor can be accounted for by the government. None of that labor can be regulated or controlled by the government (in theory). There is no boss and no time clock. None of that labor had anything to do with the monetary system. I did not save money from that labor and then deposit some of it into a bank. Since nothing from my efforts exists in the bank, the bank cannot use its fractional reserve system to make more money (in loans) from my money. So, after getting a strong understanding of Modern Money Mechanics, my efforts will not allow the bank to make money from my money, nor money from their money, nor money from that money, etc. Since I have not added anything to the bank, I have hurt their system by a factor of 9! AND, I have just put in 12 hours of free labor which contributes to an abundance of labor, which in turn, makes labor worth less, which leads to lower wages, which leads to more layoffs, which leads to more potential free labor.
So, in theory, if every single unemployed person in the world today, got up and worked for free, the market would be so flooded with free labor that all of the paid workers would be laid off. No one would have anything to put into the banks, thus hurting the banks 9 fold. There would be a huge abundance of goods and services, thus putting business out of business overnight. And, since the people are about 6,000,000,000 strong and the corporations and the businesses of the world are only a couple of 1,000 strong at most, how in the hell do you think the businesses, the true leaders of the current worldwide “monetary based society” are going to demand that all of the people stop working for free??
Now some folks out there are going to complain and say, “Who is going to start working on something for free?” To this I would tell them to look no further then Linux. Today, you can go to (http://www.ubuntu.com/getubuntu/download) and download a free computer operating system. Burn yourself a CD, place the CD in your CD drive, reboot, and start up your computer in Linux with no obligation to do anything. Give yourself 5 hours of study time and hands on time with Linux and I can almost guarantee that you will never want to use Microsoft products again. And the entire Linux project was all created at the hands of free labor. Tired of viruses? Use Linux. Tired of spyware? Use Linux. Tired of paying for software? Use Linux. Tired of your computer crashing? Use Linux. Tired of being constantly threatened with lawsuits for improper distribution and use? Use Linux.
You see, this conceptual shift in the concept of labor is the key to the entire future that the Venus Project is proposing. We the people have all of the power in the world. We just don’t know it yet. We still believe that we must cling to the old. We must go to work and save money. We must find a religion that works. We must never “lose our pride” and work for free. We must streamline the companies and always partake in commerce no matter what. We must stop the financial crisis. We must elect a “good” president. We must continue to teach our children to sign marriage contracts. We must continue to teach our children that drinking cow’s milk is good for them.
People are not cows. Cows do not drink horse’s milk. Goats do not drink rat’s milk. Cows don’t even drink cow’s milk once they are no longer babies. Why do people go around drinking cow’s milk their entire lives? The facts are out there. People in the U.S. are the biggest consumers of cow’s milk and osteoporosis is also the highest in the U.S. It’s simply because when cow’s milk is drunk by humans, the human body has to leach calcium from its own bones to process the cow’s milk (a poison) and remove it from the body. So, the fact is, when a person drinks milk, they are actually losing calcium by doing so. Even though this has been proven over and over, folks out their today still cling to their old beliefs. They still believe “Milk does a body good” and away they go down to the grocery store… And, of course, they still have “the right” to do so…
It’s sort of like the message in the book, “The Secret of Letting Go” by Guy Finley. People cling to these monetary concepts so tightly. They can’t even imagine what would happen if they were to just let go of them, much less do the opposite and try to rid them from their lives…
Humans are like that. We often tend to ignore and reject the things which we need the most.
Colon cancer is one of the biggest health problems of our time. Yet how many people in the world today have ever taken a one liter enema even once in their lives? Folks would rather walk around with 60 pounds of rotting junk in their intestines, get colon cancer, have the doctor cut their colon off, and walk around wearing a diaper for the rest of their lives than take time out from their evening TV program and go wash themselves out… And, of course, they have “the right” to live that way.
Also, consider this key point: a monetary based society can only continue to exist as long as companies can continue to grow. A company is either growing or dying. There is nothing in between. How many companies today can say that they are truly growing??… China, the final frontier…
In conclusion, I believe that the Venus Project is on to something. They have made a great start. First comes knowledge; then comes action. Beginnings always start as just a tiny seed somewhere. An oak tree begins as an acorn. A child begins with an egg, or a sperm, or maybe just a thought of having a child, or maybe with the maturity of the potential mother, or… This movement for change has already started. People are talking. Movies are being made. More and more people are homeless/jobless. Corporations are getting bigger and more savage. The wealth gap is getting larger and larger. Governments are getting more and more ruthless. People are getting more and more educated about what is actually going on. The ball is already rolling. And it will continue to roll. It’s a truth of nature. The seed has been planted and it is growing quickly! Aquarius always comes ahead of it’s time!
The future is coming. Some folks will fear and resist it with all their might. Others might contemplate it cautiously. While a few will embrace it whole-heartedly. The true pioneers are always the ones who seem like lunatics. The really radical pioneers are persecuted and killed off. They are seen as the real loony ones in their own lifetimes. Later, history recalls them as the truly enlightened ones. We all face a very real choice today. Where do you stand in your beliefs? Will you help progress the movement? Will you cling to the old even if it’s not healthy or necessary? Everything changes. It always has. It always will. This time is no different.
Good luck to all of you on your personal journeys. I know I plan to do everything I can to embrace the new world that awaits us all.
Jonn
Wow Jonn thank you for this concise, well thought out comment towards me. I appreciate the fact that you left me such a long message, and that you shared these thoughts with me. Thank you. Surprisingly, I agreed with a lot of what you said. ESPECIALLY the things you said about milk, and health. There is a LOT of ignorance in this world. However when you talk about people having the RIGHT — why do you quote it, by the way? — to believe in religions that they want to believe in, you talk about how 300 years from now these religions would be religions of “yester-year.” Some of these religions were around for THOUSANDS of years. Wouldn’t it have faded out all ready like many religions have that were around for a lesser time than Christianity or Judaism (even though I do not believe the Jews of today were the Jews from the Bible)??
As for a monetary based system — or doing away with one — I think that if we could consciously reach that level of giving, and kindness, and humanity, and oneness all at the same time or around the same time it would be a beautiful thing. The fact is we can’t. And the fact is.. as long as there is a limited supply of things in the world, there will be a price on these things. We need an overhaul of the monetary based system to make it more fair, to make it more for the people, instead of the central banks.
The problem is, my friend, you and I are too idealistic. In different ways of course.
I loved the first Zeitgeist. WATCHING THIS NOW!
Tell me what you think!
Did any of yall see the illuminati symbolism in Zeitgeist Mem. There was a scene where you had the (diamonds are forever hand figure with the sun in the middle. This was towards the end and supposedly it represents a pyramid with the all seeing eye. Also, the project was called Project Venus….venus-lucifer. any suggestions???
Wow I did not even realize the Lucifer/Venus connection. Good job Kevin! Any other thoughts you have? Please share!
“Our avocation is to achieve a social system which operates without money or politics, while allowing superstition to work itself out as education flourishes. It isn’t the right of any person to tell another what to believe, for no human has a full understanding of anything. However, if we pay attention to the natural processes of life, we then see how we can align with nature and thus our path becomes more clear.” Source: thezeitgeistmovement.com
So, the idea of the Venus Project isn’t to “remove” religion by saying “YOU ARENT ALLOWED TO BELIEVE THAT! etc” … but just that is has no place in the running of society. It has to be a personal thing.
The people talking about the Illuminati symbolism are just seeing things that aren’t there. A movie about ending superstition doesn’t intentionally include that sort of symbolism. You have to interpret what you see according to the message.
I’m one of those people that see the Illuminati symbolism in the movie. Explain to me WHY there was that hand symbol in there that is the same symbol Freemasons use?
I dislike that they talk about superstitions as negative in the movie — and I dislike how they talk about teaching your children your religion “indoctrination”, in the negative sense that they did.
I should re-watch this movie though, but it seemed like they WERE pushing their own religious agenda onto us near the end of the movie.
Simply, people are indoctrinated to a religious faith. You aren’t born with a religion.
They’re simply out-dated traditions now. People have the right to believe them if they want to, but they serve no value in reality, or society.
They’re just traditions…superstitions.
The image you’re reffering to … assumedly the bit before the Bill Hicks skit?
If you really listen, the person speaking when that image is up (forget his name) is talking about the universe as a singular community. The world as one organism of plants, animals, elements, humans etc.
The image is merely a way of symolising human connection.
I get the feeling you’re hurt by an “insult” to religious faith? But in reality, religion is superstition. Parents DO indoctrinate their children, its an outdated way of living.
For example, to be a true christian, youd have to be honest and deny many aspects of science, genetic understand, among other things.
To be a true Christian you’d have to deny many aspects of science? Like what?
Also, I’m not “hurt” — I’m not a Christian or even have a faith myself. I just believe that people have the right to worship what they want. From the Muslims to the Indians — they have a right to practice these superstitions and traditions. And if according to their religion, their superstitions, their traditions, it says thinking a certain behavior is wrong, thus furthering a divide for unity, then that’s their right to feel or think that way and in my opinion they’d be FOOLS not to follow their own beliefs.
And let’s not forget it’s their RIGHT to believe and feel however they want.
I don’t know how you found this blog, but if it was through a topic board at ATS (Above Top Secret), then you’d know a good point I made for leaving people alone with their own traditions:
The Lakota Indians… And I quote: “You know, I read something earlier about how there is an epidemic in suicides in Native American children — one of the reasons the article gave? Lack of their faith.”
Why are young Lakota killing themselves? - South Dakota reservation’s suicide rate said to be among highest in world
Religion and faith and traditions aren’t the enemy.
“To be a true Christian you’d have to deny many aspects of science? Like what?”
Cosomology, Evolution for example.
People have a RIGHT to believe what they want. But, it has no place in society. Faith is an enemy, because you have to “take” something without evidence. Faith -has- to be blind, or else it is not faith.
I found your blog through a google blog search.
“From the Muslims to the Indians — they have a right to practice these superstitions and traditions. I disagree strongly. They’d be fools not to be critical of their own beliefs. Belief has nothing to do with anything truly … truthful. You either KNOW something through evidence, or you don’t know it because of lack of evidence. Belief sometimes appears to be a gray area, but it’s really accepting something for minnimal reason (According to our understandings today).
“Religion and faith and traditions aren’t the enemy.”
They are an enemy to unity, not if they exist, but if they insist on affecting society.
So, for example, one country having Christmas as an official holiday when there are Muslims, Jews, and many others living there.
True unity is recognising that these things really are barriers to unity.
Your opinion is your right. And I agree that it’s not the religion that is the “enemy” (to some extent) it’s the establishment and the people within it.
But honestly, I don’t know anyone who has critically analysed their “faith” and come out still holding onto it.
You’re right, Zeitgeist and Venus Project do promote New Ageism. And, New Ageism = New World Order. So Zeitgeist is NWO propaganda in my book.
I’m glad someone agrees.
