I’ve definitely learned something reading this.
October 30th, 2008 | 667 wordcountA while back someone named Michael began reading my blog, and began leaving me comments, one of them saying:
“… Your blog has definitely been a major informative piece to me, and I’ve found so much just from originally looking up the mass arrests in St Paul that took place.” (That comment was left here: Historic Interview with Aaron Russo, Fighting Cancer and the New World Order.)
I was touched. Someone–anyone– learning SOMETHING from MY blog? Unheard of!
But I’m especially more touched that it came from him, because this guys pretty damn smart. And I learned much more about the failure of Democracy and other things than I ever knew from HIS blog — which, by the way, I didn’t even KNOW he had until he linked me to it in a comment (and it’s now on my RSS feed now that I DO know about it).
This is his post, which I encourage EVERYONE to read: Myspace.com Blogs - Eliminate Ballot Propositions.
Here is an excerpt from the blog post:
“… Now let’s look at proposition 8. A constitutional amendment that would ban gay marriage. Now, please take this into account first - whether or not I support gay marriage has nothing to do with what I’m going to say. This measure would remove rights to citizens, essentially making them a different class for their sexual preference. Based off of the United States Constitution, you should not be able to SUBTRACT from peoples rights unless something is a harm to people. Let’s take marriage for a second. Marriage was, is and will continue to be a FINANCIAL and LEGALLY binding -contract- between two people. It is through the legal systems that you get a divorce or annulment, not your religious. You are bound to each other financially. If your spouse owes money to the IRS, YOU owe money to the IRS. If your spouse dies, you are the automatic owner of his property unless otherwise stated in his will. With proposition 8 you are removing a citizens RIGHTS to that same legal status. It’s not about your religious views on that matter, you must separate them and decide what is FAIR and just for people. Now, suppose prop 8 passes.
The democratic process has prevailed. A majority control a minority. Sound familiar? I’m not going to begin to say I can liken the magnitude of this to, say, the 1960s Civil Liberties movement, but it’s just an example of peoples rights being imposed upon by a majority. It’s about rights.
So why would I propose to eliminate ballot propositions? People with an agenda can abuse the system to promote their own agenda. The faulty Proposition 10 in California which would essentially hand off 5 billion dollars we currently don’t have as a rebate to buyers who purchase natural gas or alternative fuel vehicles. It won’t clean the air, and you’ll be taxed to come up with the 5 billion dollars. Who’s promoting it? Someone who has a lot to gain switching to natural gas as the price of oil goes up. You’ll have to go through a legal process to get that rebate, and if you don’t know the system you probably won’t get it. Lots of confusing forms. And it was proposed to help “clean the air.” This won’t do a THING to clean the air, just change the fuel from a foreign supply to a domestic for a company here or there. It won’t reach the average consumer, and it won’t benefit you. …”
There is a ton more he wrote on this post, but that is just some of it. I found it to be very articulate, and I actually learned a lot from reading it. Michael was very specific in what he was saying, and gave good examples. A much better blogger than me, with a much better understanding of politics.
Michael, you need your own URL! You need to get out to a much larger audience.
Anyway, I encourage everyone to check out the post and his whole entire blog!

Thank you so much for your compliments, but I’m not so sure about how good of a blogger I am. I just got really stoned and started ranting at 1am hahah. I had a REALLY crappy day today and you posting this brightened it up heh.
I actually want to start taking classes in law and enter into a political career because I’m tired of all these politicians that are at the beck and call of special interests, or don’t really know wtf they’re doing. Unfortunately, I think my previous porn career might hinder me a little bit hahah.
“Hey, haven’t I seen you before?”
“Uhhhhh….. No? =D”
I’ve had that happen a couple times at the gym. And I always get this look like “You know I’m talking about the porn you did.”
…Wow sidetracked. Anyways. Thanks so much, I hope people find it as enlightening as you did =D~!
Some of the best things I wrote was from when I was a little high … Or at least some of the longest, rantiest things LOL.
You were in porn? GIVE ME THE TITLE OF THE MOVIES YOU WERE IN, I HAVE TO SEE THIS.
And don’t worry about it, you can still get into politics — at least in one shape or form.
I present to you a man named Jeff Gannon - political CONSERVATIVE CHRISTIAN blogger…
…And an ex-gay escort! (you can even still find naughty pictures of him and the descriptions he had for his services on the web — I know, because I’ve looked for them LOL)
Anyway, to quote from Wikipedia… http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jeff_Gannon
“ … Continuing to use the name Gannon, he has since created his own official homepage and worked for a time as a columnist for the Washington Blade newspaper, where he admitted to being gay after he was outed as a homosexual prostitute.
…
Howard Kurtz of the Washington Post alleges that, “Jeff Gannon, … whose naked pictures have appeared on a number of gay escort sites, says that he has ‘regrets’ about his past but that White House officials knew nothing about his salacious activities.”[2] Guckert said that he has been stalked[14] and that his family has been harassed.[15] He has revived his website since that time.
Gannon is alleged to have registered several Internet domain names, including Hotmilitarystud.com and Militaryescorts4m.com[15] and posted naked pictures of himself. According to The Independent:
“Bloggers revealed that Jeff Gannon… had previously worked as a $200-an-hour gay prostitute who advertised himself on a series of websites with names such as hotmilitary stud.com.”[16] … ”
And that is just some of the story. It’s actually a lot more bizarre, and it starts years ago when Jeff Gannon was just a young teenager. Many believe, and others have even confirmed, that Jeff Gannon is really a kid who was abducted years ago named Johnny Gosch (http://www.johnnygosch.com/). Johnny Gosch’s mother, Noreen Gosch (who wrote “Why Johnny Can’t Come Home“), even believes that Jeff Gannon is actually her son (and claims that Jeff Gannon even visited her years after her son was abducted)
Anyway, long story short, it’s a really weird and bizarre story and there was a book written on it called “The Franklin Cover-Up” and a Discovery Channel documentary called “Conspiracy of Silence” that was BANNED days before it aired, and bought by an unknown company and destroyed (and the story goes that days before that happened, a politician called the Discovery Channel and threatened that if it was to air the cable companies will suffer from all sorts of censorship and worse). One spare copy survived and made it to some law enforcements department and now you can find the banned documentary on the internet.
I’ve all ready watched it. Very informative (also very sick).
…AND HOW IS THAT FROM STRAYING FAR OFF THE TOPIC? LOL.
Long story short… if this guy, Jeff Gannon, also known as James Guckert, who might also be Johnny Gosch who was a victim of a political child sex ring, can make it into politics — with all of that crazy stuff attached to him — …. Then you, my friend, should have no problem.
Hahahah, he’s gross. I wouldn’t ever pay him for sex. Or, for his “time” rather.
Uh, you can view my videos on Collegedudes247.com, Seth Lyons. I haven’t done any work since April 08 tho hah.
And I did a video w/ Ace for BrentCorriganInc.com called “Just the Sex” but it’s a DVD release.
Omg omg! So my car got towed & repossessed and I had a copy of that DVD in my car, with me on it. And went to get my possessions from the tow place and the video was like, at the top of the pile hahahah.
My bong was missing tho =(
Yeah I think he’s pretty nasty looking to.
HAHA Were you embarrassed that they saw the DVD of the porn in your car?
As for your bong — well all the porn and sex stuff can be over looked in politics… BUT DRUGS — actually, never mind, that can be overlooked too. SO GET TO IT. CHIP CHOP. CALIFORNIA POLITICS IS A-WAITING.
And so is your own domain, which you desperately need.
BTW I checked out the site but didn’t look for your work yet. Will do it soon.
I pretty much thought it was funny as hell that the DVD was right there =D
And they listed it on the list of my possessions that they had my sign to get them back. “Dvd Disc” or something hah.
Yea, I guess I need to create a website, but I’m poor =(
ima check your stuff out michael///including the pr0n (wink wink baby).
i got 2 free domains and plenty of server space that i can maybe hook you up with….we’ll talk
There is no end to your sexual exploration is there LOL.
I’d have your babies.
Well, maybe I shouldn’t go so far as to do THAT… I don’t want a kid, my ass would never be the same again. =(
It’s really not a lot of money at all to get started up. Only costs like, what, 130 or so a YEAR. Not a big thing at all.
Well, when the state of California is taking 25% of your paychecks because of money you owe in tickets, and your rent is $750/month… $130 goes a long ways. LIke, putting food in my tummy for a week =D
Blogging pays for itself, though. And in a short time.
he sounds almost as cool as me…i really like the prop 8 stuff…i will definately check him out when i get home (no myspace @ work)
Believe me babe, there’s no one as cool as you!
TBH I’m torn on what he wrote. I agreed with some of it, some of it I didn’t agree on, but overall I’m ignorant to this subject for the most part. I need more research on it.
Still it was a fascinating read, wasn’t it?
