I got a lot of great things there though. But the one thing I am mostly in love with is this.

You can’t really see how blue it is in that picture

This is the description on Kohls website:

Blue on blue. Your jewels will always stick with you. This blue topaz and sapphire pendant will surely win your heart.

  • Sparkling blue topaz is complemented by deep blue sapphire accents for a look that’s true blue.
  • Antique-inspired prong setting offers endless style.
  • White gold construction provides long-lasting, beautiful wear.
  • Details:

    • 5/8-in. pendant
    • 18-in. chain
    • 14k white gold
    • Princess Alexandra Jewels by LeVian

I got it for my mother. I think it’ll match her eyes and it’s pretty.

Here are the earrings that go with it:

And here’s the description:

14k White Gold Blue Topaz Earrings

Refeshingly chic. Give your look a touch of sparkle with these blue topaz earrings.

  • Princess-cut blue topaz creates a simple, stunning look.
  • Blue sapphire accents shimmer from every angle.White gold construction gives you beauty that lasts a lifetime.

  • Details:

I didn’t get them for her but I think she’ll get them for herself (because I already showed my mother her Christmas gift…) using the Kohls cash I accumulated from this shopping trip THAT DOESN’T ACTIVATE TILL SUNDAY!!!! If it was activated today I could have saved more money on everything and got my mother those earrings LOL. Damn Kohls.

Anyway I’m exhausted. ZZZZZZZZ.

Those are really pretty. Good purchase. Yes, it’s quite crazy out there on Black Friday. Which is why I try to stay home where it’s safe heh.

Black Friday is a MESS. This was my first and quite possibly my last.

…Maybe.

And thank you!

I can not believe LeVian is at Kohls!! This is better than Vera Wang. My best friends just bought a $6,000 ring from them and after seeing you blog I went there and bought 3 pieces. I can not wait to rub it in.

Thank you,
Jessica

I never even heard of LeVian until Kohls. I thought it was just a Kohls brand. Glad to find out it isn’t! I heard of Vera Wang being at Kohls, but don’t they call it something different? Is it actually Vera Wang or just a knock off? Same question goes for LeVian.

At least you didn’t get crushed by a door and rushed to a hospital to die. =)
Or shot by another person over a toy.
Or lost a child because you miscarried from being stepped on by people.
Wtf is wrong with our world?
I dunno if you heard about any of those stories, but I read them online Friday night…

I heard the story about the guy getting crushed at the door and then died. That happened at Walmart, didn’t it? Go figure that.

I don’t know WHAT is wrong with people. The other day I was watching something about Freud and he believed that humans are naturally aggressive from when they came out of the womb. I’m inclined to believe that half of the time.

Well, the most basic of instincts is survival, and these corporations are acting on that, in my opinion. You NEED the new flat screen TV. You NEED to get to this sale. You NEED. NEED. NEED!
People don’t differentiate WANTS and NEEDS anymore, and companies exploit it to the fullest.
Unfortunately, much like the US Foreign policy, it has backlash. =(

Kohls is sometimes absolutely amazing to find and buy things!

I love anything blue so both of those items look pretty. ;-) (As if somehow not loving blue would mean they weren’t?! *laughs*)

Although I’m personally not fond of white gold I’m sure your mother is very happy with the gift. I like the sapphire on it. Hahah and I read your mother is already wearing it - nice!

We don’t celebrate Thanks Giving in The Netherlands nor do we have crazy Black Fridays - so no crazy sales overhere :( We do celebrate Sinter Klaas which make parents run to the stores to buy gifts, so it’s usually busy this week. We also celebrate Xmas.

Santa Klaas? I heard of other countries celebrating a special day for Santa Claus all by themselves and it having nothing to do with Christmas, especially not sharing the same day. I wish we had that there. It would be fun.

I think she will love the necklace. I never buy my jewelry at a department store… If I could find something like that at my usual place, I would get them.

The blue showed up better in the topaz in the earring pic. I hate it when they do offers that do not activate immediately. *sighs* It is a real inconvenience. I ended up doing my Black Friday shopping online…less hectic and I got out of it without bruising.
