Hahah, yea. So what I'm gonna do is hop on, give as much info as I can as quickly as I can and try to organize something for after the protest somewhere else. Hopefully I have the balls to get up there and take over.

I totally agree, I'm not watching the news (I don't even have cable.) I'm reading newspapers and pulling my own conclusions from what I read, and from conversations and dicussions I have with friends.

Oh, there's going to be a protest here in San Diego on Saturday against Prop 8, I'm considering jumping up on the mic and going into what we need to do to fix our country. I'll probably get arrested, but it needs to be done.

It's harder for there to be defectors in China, but I guarantee you there are. Not to the ratio in the United States, but China doesn't have a foreign policy that pisses off half the world. They've got internal policies that piss off their own people, but they aren't playing puppet master to the world like we are.
The US has spies in China, no doubt about it. We have spies probably in every country in the world, the government just won't admit it.

Well, you could be right about Hamas, but the thing is, Hamas's leaders are personally coming out and saying these things, legalizing crucifixion, etc. Osama Bin Laden was in hiding, the leaders of Hamas are not.

Basically, my point in it is sort of like this:

We live in a cultural melting pot, that in and of itself makes internal security an ordeal; not to mention, despite how shady our government can be at times (I'm sure Cetta would agree on that part of my statement), they are not ultimately pervasive and controlling like say, China.

You won't notice alot of 'Chinese' defectors or anything of the sort, and that also applies to alot of the countries with very strict, pervasive governments that inspire alot of control and or fear in their citizens.

A 'defector' or 'spy' or 'internal agent' could really be just about anyone; ranging from someone established over here in the States for many, many years, even with family in country; or it could simply be a guy who's fed up with his job and was offered a large sum of money by a foreign agent.

I'd wager to say there are enough loopholes that it's not so hard for other governments to have contacts and informants within the government agencies and or military.

Regardless, if in the context of a comparison, you took the US and China (or any other country like it) side by side, I'd be completely shocked if there were more defectors from China, or any other country like it you put in the example; or informants for that matter. Probably on a 10:1 ratio, or worse.

Here's another point Brandon made in terms of how things are very interchangeable over there:

Brandon: Cultural melting pot has as many disadvantages as it has up sides.

Concetta: new york is a cultural melting pot

Concetta: there are israelis there that can easily pass for arabs over there.

Concetta: even speak the language

Brandon: Think of it this way.

Brandon: In China?

Brandon: You are not going to see some American dude or some African dude amongst their ranks.

Brandon: You will not see those types of individuals in their organizations, especially the 'secure' ones.

I don't think it's such a far leap to say that it may not even be Hamas making these claims, but a counterfeit like they said Osama Bin Laden on the 9/11 confession tapes wasn't really him, and how some people say he is dead today.

You could be right about Rahm Emanuel. By the way, did you know that the supposed terrorists that brought down the Twin Towers were being spied on by Mossad agents?

Some people even think the Mossad had a hand in 9/11.

Ex-Italian Prime Minister - '9/11 Carried Out By CIA and Mossad'.

As for China, they're really more like a new form of capitalism. I know they really are not what communism isn't TRULY about. I do not believe in communism either or agree with it. I'm a free market type of person.

What I meant by I do not agree what China is doing I meant in terms of torture. I've read articles about people becoming totally INSANE from the torture China inflicts on them for whatever reason (religious prosecuted in the case that I read -- not Christianity, either).

America doesn't jump to stop them. We are hypocrites!

PS: I don't think it's okay for anyone to have nukes, but if a country has them and is telling another country to NOT have them, that is even doubly so not okay.

It's not okay for ANYONE to have nukes. They're completely destructive weapons. What's even scarier is they have nukes that do minimal damage to buildings and just kill everyone within their radius. Of course, the US has most of that technology =)
If Israel is doing the attacks themselves, we're venturing into conspiracy theory territory here, because Hamas is claiming responsibility for the attacks. If THAT'S the case, then it would mean there's a lot more going on than we're aware of (which is probably already the case anyways.) Hamas is, in my opinion, a corrupt government, and instead of the Palestinians ousting them, they're standing behind them. Israel is being attacked by Hamas, and though they're doing overkill in their retaliation, they are simply defending themselves. Again, it was Hamas who originally violated the ceasefire agreement AND stepped up and SAID they did. So if Israel is really doing the attacks, and Hamas is complaining responsibility that means Hamas and Israel are working together for some greater cause...
As far as China goes, they aren't communist, communism is a lot different than what they're doing and they've given it a bad name. Aside from that, China does do a lot of wrong things, but one thing RIGHT that they're doing (while it has horrible ramifications) is the requirement of having only one child. They simply can't afford a population growing exponentially, like India is currently doing, and they've gotta do SOMETHING about it...
But back to Israel... The US has so many ties to Israel, and as well did you know the largest number of spies in the US is from Israel? They're spying on us, we're spying on them. It's kind of absurd. I personally think Rahm Emanuel is a spy at the highest level, a spy of some sort. I mean, his father is a Zionist Jew, and he is bringing much of the things he learned in Israel over here (forcing children to go into the military at a certain age for a specific amount of time.) What's crazy is that anyone I tell about the whole civil-service-training program thing that is OLDER than 25 they say it's a good thing. When they're under 25, they're up in arms going "WHAT!?" When I throw it in the older peoples faces that if they were our age, they would be up in arms, they never have anything to say to defend themselves...
All of this going on in Israel I feel is a distraction for the entire world as the central banks continue to consolidate their power. Our economy is CRUMBLING around us, and in the rest of the world. Unemployment is skyrocketing, states don't have money. Social security is GONE. The bank accounts that should have hundreds of billions of dollars for social security are EMPTY. And what's looming around the corner is this discussion of a one-world currency, which leads to a one-world government, and the people need a huge distraction to pull us away from thinking about what policies are being pushed through our government currently.
Turn on C-Span and see what they're talking about right now (I'm not sure, but it's probably not to our benefit.)
