Warning: I get a little off track in this post, talking about the government and their hand in destroying the country with the CIA shipping in cocaine and crack, and how the war on drugs is fake and is used to make money, but that’s just my style, isn’t it? Anyway, I get RIGHT back on topic after those diversions.
In honor of it being 4/20 NORML is launching 7,770 nationwide TV ads to reform the cannabis laws in this country.
Legalization: Yes We Can
If they can legalize cigarettes, which are 110 times worse than weed, and allow alcohol into this country, then there is no reason for weed to be banned.
Actually, over the weekend I met up with a cop I went to school with years ago. He said that he’s never seen any case of violence or death when marijuana was involved - but alcohol? Countless times.
Did you know also when weed was banned it was for RACIST reasons?
Harry J. Anslinger, “The Father of The Drug War” (which the government secretly wants to fail — most of the drugs that come into this country ARE from the CIA/government — I’ll get into this more later) has been quoted saying such ridiculous things as:
“There are 100,000 total marijuana smokers in the US, and most are Negroes, Hispanics, Filipinos, and entertainers. Their Satanic music, jazz, and swing, result from marijuana use. This marijuana causes white women to seek sexual relations with Negroes, entertainers, and any others.” -Harry J. Anslinger
WOW. WHERE DID THEY COME UP WITH THAT?
Kamele (4:41:28 PM): FILIPINOS
Kamele (4:41:29 PM): DO NOT
Kamele (4:41:32 PM): SMOKE THAT MUCH WEED
Concetta (4:41:40 PM): its nignorance is what it is
Kamele (4:41:42 PM): WTF KIND OF FACTS ARE THOSE
(yes, I spelled it NIGNORANCE on purpose)
“…the primary reason to outlaw marijuana is its effect on the degenerate races.” -Harry J. Anslinger
“Marijuana is an addictive drug which produces in its users insanity, criminality, and death.” -Harry J. Anslinger
^^^^Totally ridiculous.
“Reefer makes darkies think they’re as good as white men.” -Harry J. Anslinger
^^^^I don’t know what to say to that…
“Marijuana leads to pacifism and communist brainwashing.” -Harry J. Anslinger
^^^^Because we ALL know pacifism is a bad thing. Also, president Bush? You know that idiot, on top of doing a TON of coke and who knows what else, took a few hits of weed, and we all know how pacifistic HE was. /sarcasmsarcasmsarcasm
But the best part is that after Harry J. Anslinger says marijuana causes PACIFISM, he goes on to say…
“You smoke a joint and you’re likely to kill your brother.” -Harry J. Anslinger
“Marijuana is the most violence-causing drug in the history of mankind.” -Harry J. Anslinger
“In the year 1090, there was founded in Persia the religious and military order of the Assassins, whose history is one of cruelty, barbarity, and murder, and for good reason: the members were confirmed users of hashish, or marijuana, and it is from the Arabs’ ‘hashashin’ that we have the English word ‘assassin.‘” -Harry J. Anslinger
^^^^You can’t have it both ways, Harry J. Anslinger. You either think marijuana is a pacifistic drug or you think it’s the most violent-causing drug in the history of mankind. God I wish this man was here today, we’d eat him alive…
With these racist, asinine, quotes and propaganda, along with other things (like news paper articles from a news paper owned by William Randolf Hearst, a friend of Harry J. Anslinger, that was filled with propaganda such as murderers and serial killers and other horror stories — PROBABLY LIKE WHITE WOMEN SLEEPING WITH BLACK MEN! THE HORROR!!!), Harry J. Anslinger went to congress. Not surprisingly, the hearings were short (and filled with lies) and on August 2, 1937, marijuana was sadly made illegal.
But now this all might be changing!
I’ll be completely honest. It makes me a little nervous that the government wants to be in control of the marijuana, because it makes me wonder what are they going to put into it that’s bad for you? Just like with tobacco, which I’m not saying isn’t bad for you, but we all that cigarettes have tons and tons of chemicals on them that are not natural or even LESS healthy than how tobacco started off.
But then again, like I mentioned above about the CIA/government being in control of the drug war, and like I’ve blogged about countless times, the government probably are already poisoning us through weed.
If you don’t believe me (about the faux drug war), would you believe a former head of the DEA?
Ex-DEA Head Admits CIA Imported Cocaine and destroyed the nation
They did it for the money? But they destroyed a nation in the process, when they could have legalized weed a long time ago and solved the problem about money without ruining our country …
So excuse me if I’m a little weary of what the government wants to do concerning drugs - or is even encouraged to do by other organizations. I mean, we all know that alot of the time opposition is controlled - so why not an entire movement/foundation to encourage a supposed “reluctant” government to do something? Making the people think, “oh yes, democracy won…” when really… . .
Or am I getting too paranoid and over thinking things? Haha.
But I mean, if the government has no problem injecting crack cocaine into the country, then of course they’ll poison our weed supply. (Ever wonder sometimes what some Chem Trails are for…?). Especially if we give them full control of ALL of it?
Either way, I encourage everyone to watch THIS when they get a chance:
The CIA and the 80’s Crack Epidemic
Kamele (4:48:03 PM): you know people start doing other drugs because they can’t get weed
Kamele (4:48:11 PM): then they’re addicted
Kamele (4:48:20 PM): i feel bad for mainlanders lols
Kamele (4:48:27 PM): in some states it’s sooo hard to get weed
Kamele (4:49:28 PM): green harvest came to our island and made us dry
Kamele (4:49:34 PM): that’s why we have so many meth heads now
Concetta (4:50:18 PM): bet it was done on purpose
Kamele (4:50:23 PM): and we’re back to having lots of weed … but it’s too late. we already have too many meth heads and majority of them are 30 or older
Kamele (4:50:58 PM): you can imagine how many YOUNG KIDS we have that had their lives destroyed because their parents …
Concetta (4:51:20 PM): yeah
Concetta (4:51:27 PM): this generation is fucked up
Concetta (4:51:31 PM): the new gen will be even worse
Concetta (4:51:33 PM): its on purpose lol
Concetta (4:51:37 PM): more people will be in the system
Concetta (4:51:47 PM): more government control
Kamele (4:51:56 PM): yep
Kamele (4:52:01 PM): cuz the government makes everyone feel helpless
Anyway…
And I know it appears I just got totally off subject from legalizing marijuana, but I felt that was important to log/say/show…
Back on topic.
Watch Ron Paul on CNN talking about how legalizing weed would help the economy, and the TRUE drug problem in this country is ALCOHOL and NICOTINE - exactly what I said, more or less, in the beginning.
“Ron Paul on CNN American Morning 4/15/09: Legalizing Marijuana”
Youtube Description: “Ron Paul was on CNN to discuss the war on drugs and the legalization of marijuana. Dr. Paul advocated for a state solution over the “one size fits all” federal approach.
Please join the fight for Freedom, Peace and Prosperity at Campaign For Liberty http://www.campaignforliberty.com/ and Liberty Works Radio Network http://www.libertyworksradionetwork.com/”
Even BARNEY FRANK is involved in this:
“DID YOU KNOW THAT THERE ARE MARIJUANA BILLS IN CONGRESS!”
When I see these old men involved in wanting to legalize marijuana I know that I was wrong in my thoughts that this was a generational knowledge/thought to legalize it. It makes me wonder where all this ignorance came from with the older generations, like our grandmothers/grandfathers or much older aunts/uncles, if people as old as — AND AS GREAT AS — Ron Paul and Barney Frank even know the truth behind legalizing this drug? (Especially Ron Paul — that man is MY president)
Why didn’t most of these old timers use CRITICAL THINKING? So sharp in soooo many ways (sharper than us), but so gullible too…
That’s a topic for another time.

So like. I pretty much said everything that I have to say but I will comment anyway. It’s time that all this nonsense against weed stops. The only time it hurts people is when they have to smuggle it in fear of the government, and like the first video says, when good people go to jail for it.
It’s just silly. Everyone needs to smoke a bowl and get over it.
That’s so true.
nignorance!!!
Nignorance is the opposite of your comment. What an asset.
Hi Cetta!
I was watching a documentary about all of this on Bravo (Canada). http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Grass_(1999_film) You might want to check it out. Sounds right up your alley. I wish it had aired on the American station.
Why doesn’t it surprise me it’s not on American television…
Thank you for telling me about it though! I’ll look it up soon.
Awesome blog. I found you from girly.net’s blog.
