Sacred Geometry.

I just recently heard of a science called “Sacred Geometry.” I’ve heard of this before, briefly, in passing, but never in the way I heard it tonight, and it was never called “Sacred Geometry” when I saw or read about it.

We’re all familiar with the Freemason symbol / emblem right?

The “G” supposedly means “God” or “Geometry”. Now why would the Freemasons honor geometry…?

There’s that business about every important building in Washington D.C. being at the perfect distance from each other, and the perfect points to make an inverted pentagram…

Then, of course, there are the buildings in Washington being aligned with certain constellations in the sky just like the Pyramids in Egypt being aligned with certain constellations (if this could even be considered Geometry)

That was the extent of it, however. I figured there was something deeper — in my opinion, and in my experience, there is always something deeper in every subject, always further down you can go, but I personally just never bothered to look.

Tonight someone (hello Svenson!) made me bother to look.

Really, it was no bother at all. This is fascinating. I thirst to find out more.

From what I saw alone tonight, you could find traces of this in the Kabbalah, in Ancient Egypt (The Ancient Mystery Schools of Egypt to be exact, according to the two videos I’m going to show you) and a lot of other religions, regions and time periods, so before anyone says this is “New Aged Nonsense”, I suggest they watch the two videos below.

This is part 1 and 2 in a series of videos. I can’t find the rest of this particular series, but I did find more Youtube videos about Sacred Geometry.

There’s nothing more to say expect watch these videos, because I don’t fully understand this, and have just heard about it tonight.

Sacred Geometry - Part 1

Youtube Description: “An introduction to the basics of Sacred Geometry, showing how nature creates its very first pattern.”

Sacred Geometry - Part 2

Youtube Description: “Demonstrating some of the extrapolations that can be done from natures first pattern (shown in the first video), such as the Egg of Life, Metatrons Cube, and the Golden Ratio

Note: I made two mistakes in this video, the pronunciation of “tesseract”, and i also missed out two archimedean solids (due to an error in my reference book lol - “Sacred Geometry by Stephen Skinner”)

I love how this doesn’t seem to discredit God, but instead proves he exists in some way, and I love when, in the first video, it says “Maybe the Bible is only an exoteric recreation of an older esoteric wisdom.”

Isn’t that how we can explain most ancient religions? The sun being a god that gives us life to pray to - was that not a simple way for some ancient people to explain something that was going on in a much grander scale?

Could it not be the same with the Bible?

Also, just to prove how deep, perhaps how spiritual this Sacred Geometry might be able to get, let me show you what my friend Svenson has told me:

The Patient (7:05:42 AM): You should look up stuff about the Merkaba, or Merkabah.

Concetta (7:07:48 AM): what is that

The Patient (7:08:00 AM): Supposedly

The Patient (7:08:10 AM): Well, from what i understand..

The Patient (7:08:20 AM): Oh wait.

The Patient (7:08:25 AM): Do you know what Kundalini yoga is?

The Patient (7:08:38 AM): Because it won’t make sense if you don’t

Concetta (7:09:13 AM): i think so

The Patient (7:09:33 AM): It’s the belief that we have certain points in our bodies that are called chakras, and that they can be activated or something through kundalini yoga and meditation

Concetta (7:09:44 AM): yeah ive heard of this

The Patient (7:09:45 AM): Which is taking energy from the base of your spine and projecting it through your body and upwards

Concetta (7:09:53 AM): i learned this in massage therapy

The Patient (7:09:54 AM): Okay.

The Patient (7:09:56 AM): So

The Patient (7:10:55 AM): Merkabah is the idea that once you’ve activated all your chakra points, including the pineal gland then it’s supposed to let you see into other dimensions that we normally wouldn’t be able to percieve..

The Patient (7:11:18 AM): I dunno about this stuff. I’ve just heard of it.

The Patient (7:11:31 AM): I don’t really believe it, but

The Patient (7:12:25 AM): You can distribute this energy out of your body and it forms a vehicle of light around you called the Merkabah, which is one of the sacred geometry shapes

The Patient (7:12:59 AM): And through the Merkabah you can see any point in the universe, at any point in time, etc

The Patient (7:13:07 AM): And it’s pretty much astral projection

Concetta (7:13:19 AM): its like being on gods omnipotent level

Concetta (7:13:24 AM): has anyone ever obtained this

The Patient (7:13:25 AM): Right

The Patient (7:13:30 AM): Supposedly yes

Concetta (7:13:32 AM): who

The Patient (7:14:05 AM): Mainly people of religions who include meditation, like people who have meditated every day of their lives

The Patient (7:14:13 AM): Buddhists, etc

The Patient (7:14:24 AM): Some Middle Eastern religions

The Patient (7:14:27 AM): I can’t remember.. too tired.

The Patient (7:14:47 AM): But..

The Patient (7:15:06 AM): Someone did this with Timothy Leary and they supposedly witness the process of death and rebirth

The Patient (7:15:07 AM): Through all stages

The Patient (7:15:25 AM): And Timothy Leary documented it even to like exactly how many days it takes

The Patient (7:15:55 AM): He published it in like.. a new version of the Tibetian Book of the Dead that he wrote

The Patient (7:16:13 AM): Since it’s supposed to say this in the original, but no one can read the original, it’s not published, etc

Concetta (7:18:07 AM): timothy leary

Concetta (7:18:11 AM): i hate to be a skeptic

Concetta (7:18:12 AM): but..

Concetta (7:18:12 AM):

Concetta (7:18:15 AM): maybe perhaps

Concetta (7:18:18 AM): it was the acid

Concetta (7:18:19 AM): ?

The Patient (7:18:45 AM): Exactly

The Patient (7:19:01 AM): That’s why everything he ever did has to be taken with a grain of salt

The Patient (7:19:06 AM): Because he was loaded on acid all the time.

The Patient (7:20:10 AM): But I read a book by a priest who moved into a tiny hut in Indian and survived only on water for 40 days, he says

The Patient (7:20:15 AM): And he meditated the entire time

The Patient (7:20:57 AM): He said that Timothy Leary came to visit him after the last day with a group of researchers and he was explaining all of the visions he had during his meditation.

The Patient (7:21:09 AM): And they were like yeah yeah you can see that kind of stuff on acid too.

The Patient (7:21:42 AM): So he asked for some, and they gave him a few hits, and he said he wanted a lot more.. so he took like three or four strips off of a sheet and ate it at once, then ate like a dozen oranges.

The Patient (7:21:49 AM): And he said it didn’t effect him at all.

The Patient (7:21:54 AM): Like nothing happened.

The Patient (7:22:37 AM): Which I believe. I think stuff like acid and mushrooms is a shortcut to what you can achieve with your mind through meditation, and once you really get there through meditation the drugs won’t do anything at all because you’re already used to it.

The Patient (7:23:03 AM): Except acid and mushrooms is all distorted, it’s all random weird stuff that you can’t grasp and remember.

Concetta (7:23:42 AM): timothy leary must have felt like a fool

The Patient (7:24:32 AM): Yeah.
.
.
.
Well, there you have it. Something new to look up, something new to research, something new to ponder.

I probably will blog about this more sometime.
.
.

Chii (8:27:57 AM): well now
Chii (8:28:04 AM): that sure took my mind for a ride
Concetta (8:28:09 AM): LOL

So your conversation about Timothy Leary and the guy experiencing the process of life and death reminds me of my acid trip. =) I was watching all of these crazy fractal patterns go by in front of my vision, and then I started following them further and further and basically lost my fucking mind. I went through the entire process of death and rebirth. I will say, the hardest part of it all was accepting death. Basically what you’re going through though is experience an Ego Death. You lose your sense of “I,” your vision of your “self” and you’re pretty much existing mentally without your ego. It’ll stick with you for a long, long time, if you can remember most of it. Although, it’s not something I really recommend =P
